To our dear and faithful readers:
Please forgive our absence in posting over the past few weeks! We promise to begin posting powerful and helpful articles and ideas again very soon.
Our ministry team here at Next Level Worship is releasing this week the largest and most comprehensive resource we have ever compiled. It is called 30 Days of Renewal. It is a major church-wide emphasis on personal worship and corporate praise.
Because of this major release, all of our time has been consumed in putting the many different resources — teaching materials, DVDs, online resources, etc. — together.
Blessings!
Dwayne Moore
President, Next Level Worship, LLC
The Center for Worship at Liberty University is using Dwayne’s devotional study, Pure Praise, in their new, redesigned course, The Role of the Worship Leader. They usually have between 40 and 60 students in the class every 8 weeks. It is a Masters level class in Worship Studies. The class is taught by Dr. Vernon Whaley, director of the Center for Worship.
We are honored that Pure Praise can make an impact on future worship leaders and pastors during their incredibly important formative years of ministry development.
ATTN: All who love great praise and preaching!!

We just got the following email from our dear friend, Charles Billingsley. (As many of you know, Charles wrote the Foreword for Dwayne’s devotional study, Pure Praise.) Don’t miss this great opportunity tomorrow (Saturday, June 6) night!
Tomorrow night, Saturday, June 6 at 6:00 PM Eastern Time, the Trinity Broadcasting Network will air a special, one-hour edition of “Praise The Lord” from Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA. The featured speaker is A.R. Bernard and I will lead the congregation in powerful praise and worship with several of the songs from my new, soon to be released CD, God of The Ages.
Please don’t miss the opportunity to join us for this awesome service, Saturday, June 6 at 6:00 PM. I know your heart will be blessed.
Please pray for Dr. Vernon Whaley, who is the Director for the Center for Worship at Liberty University. He was in a very serious car accident about two months ago and has had multiple complications since. He has had 3 surgeries to date and has now contracted staph infection, which in his words in an email to Dwayne, was a “major and unexpected turn.” He has not been able to return to work at Liberty since the accident.
Dr. Whaley is a dear friend of Dwayne’s, a strong supporter of our ministry, and a mentor to so many worship leaders across the nation. Please pray daily for him and for his family. We will update this blog post as we hear further news. Thanks so much.
Many thanks to Rev Magazine for featuring an excerpt from Pure Praise: A Heart-focused Bible Study on Worship in their March/April edition! Rev Magazine is a widely-circulated printed magazine for pastors and staff ministers.
The article is entitled Ministers through Music, and it is taken from Day 1 of Week 6 of Pure Praise. Out of all the powerful principles in Pure Praise, the editors at Rev chose this teaching. More and more we are hearing of how this fresh and provocative message is resonating with many people who are going through the study.
Our very first Next Level Worship Conference in Deridder, LA went incredibly well! We had close to 120 people who attended, representing several local area churches. We received the letter below from Frank Nihart, who is the worship pastor who hosted our first Next Level Worship Conference. It is clear from this letter that he was very satisfied with the results of the conference.
Dear Dwayne,
Let me say again how well our people and the surrounding area churches responded to the Next Level Worship Conference. To many, it was a day of new insight on the subject of worship and praise. It is my opinion that most Christians don’t realize how dominant and daily worship should be in our lives. Similarly, choir members, praise team members, pastors and even worship leaders could all benefit from your teaching about being “ministers ‘through’ music.”
The large group worship/teaching times you led were, to quote one attendee: “able to meet all our needs.” They went on to say they were inspired to serve more readily and better recognized their calling as a worship leader.
The small group sessions were effective to the point that great teaching was done in a compacted schedule. These sessions informed the attendees and whetted their appetites to pursue greater skill and knowledge in the various subject/ministry areas.
Your preparation was truly professional. You were keenly concerned about relating the truths of the scripture to “our” conferees. Your leadership and conscientiousness about “timing” and schedule were much appreciated.
May God bless you in your commitment to serve Him.

TheWorshipCommunity.com is going together through Pure Praise: A Heart-focused Bible Study on Worship. You can still jump into their amazing discussions of what they are learning during each day’s devotional study. Go here to read the forums and get involved.
Here are a few quotes from the forum discussion during Week 1:
First off, I love where this study is going. It is really making me think about some things.
Wow -this is really good. I desire Him because He first desired me! He delights in us. There is nothing we can do or say that will ever change that.
The “Daily Surrender” portion was GRUELING for me today as I had to be honest about some of the rotten places in my heart.
I think I am getting more out of this study than I ever have in any other Bible study. Thanks everyone!!! And Thank God!!!
I thought I knew what worship is but apparently I have a lot to learn throughout the rest of this study. Today’s reading along with the past two days has already broadened my definition of worship. Read more…
Do yourself a huge favor and go today, in fact right now, to www.IAmSecond.com. This is a website put together by Tony Evans. It is cutting edge in its format and presentation. It features video testimonies by famous sports stars, movie stars, and musicians, such as Darrell Waldrep, Stephen Baldwin, Brian “Head” Welch (former lead guitarist of KoRn), and several others.
This website is an awesome evangelistic tool designed for people who don’t know Christ and need hope and help. Topics covered include drug addiction, eating disorders, disillusionment from famine and hopelessness in world, rejection, physical and emotional pain, loneliness and more.
We are left on this earth to show forth God’s praises in a dark world. What better way to worship Him publically than to point those you love to a website like this where they can discover the Hope and Peace found only in Christ?

A girl in the Phillipines is going through the Pure Praise worship study with her church’s youth group. She blogged about what she learned in Week 1 (Understanding Worship). She said she had always felt guilty that she wasn’t singing and focusing on God every moment. She knew worship should be a lifestyle, but she was confused as to what true, Biblical worship encompasses.
After going through the first week of Pure Praise, she said, “It really was a light bulb moment for me…God is pleased with me simply because I am His daughter. And because I am pleasing God, I am worshiping Him.”
