”Engaging in Heaven’s Praise will delight your soul and clarify your purpose each day. What a glorious thought that God wants to praise us! I deeply appreciate the simple truths–grounded in Scripture–that Dwayne Moore has crafted into a daily tool for individuals or groups to immerse themselves in. This study is a gift to the kingdom!”

Heaven’s Praise is scheduled to be released by Group Publishing, Inc. in June of 2011. It is a 6-week, indepth Bible study for individuals and small groups.
Please help us pray as we seek other well-known and well-respected Bible teachers and church leaders to endorse this powerful new study by Dwayne.
Dear friend,
I know you’re extremely busy, but as the Lord brings this to your mind, I would greatly appreciate you breathing a prayer.
I’ll be teaching a class today through Friday at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. It’s a graduate course entitled “Developing a Heart for Worship.” I’ll be teaching from my study, Pure Praise, as well as from the new book I’m writing called Heaven’s Praise: Hearing Him Say Well Done.
- Please pray for clarity and anointing as I teach.
- Pray for the grad students to be more than just informed about worship. Pray they are ignited in their personal passion for the Lord and their love for others.
- Pray for Rory Noland (author of Heart of the Artist), Charles Billingsley, Dr. Vernon Whaley, and others who will also be leading this “Summer Intensive.”
Thank you for your friendship and encouragement. And thank you for your powerful prayers. Blessings on you and your family and ministry!
Dwayne
We are excited and thankful that our friend, Mark Hall of Casting Crowns, recorded a powerful endorsement of Dwayne’s book, Pure Praise: A Heart-focused Bible Study on Worship!
In an unprecedented six-year span with nearly 4.5 million career album sales, a GRAMMY Award, an American Music Award, 23 Dove Awards and 8 chart-topping radio singles, Casting Crowns remains focused on discipleship through music. That helps explain Mark’s enthusiasm for Dwayne’s powerful Bible study.
We just received another update today (June 6):
Thanks for the prayer. I’m doing much, much better. I do go to Sinai Hospital on Thursday for another surgery . . . to remove the plate from the right side of my left ankle. Surgery is on Friday. If all goes well, I should be out of the hospital by Monday.
Hey everyone, I just received this email from my good friend, Dr. Vernon Whaley, who is director for the Center for Worship at Liberty University. We posted a few weeks ago about his very serious automobile accident. Several have come to our site for informaton on his condition. Below is the very latest update.
BTW, Dr. Whaley’s worship book, Called To Worship, will be released May 13th and in stores June 6th! It’s a great read (and I had the privilege to be one of the endorsers for it!) So along with praying for him, cheer Dr. Whaley up by purchasing his book!! ~ Dwayne
I’m actually better. My left ankle has to do a great deal of healing yet. I’m walking on my right leg with a walker. The left leg needs needs your prayer that two open wounds will heal and grow new tissue. LOTS of metal in one of the wounds yet to be covered by tissue. The staph infection is better and under control. I’m on IV antibiotics every day. This is a VERY strong medication (and expensive). Please do continue to pray for me. I have an appointment with a bone infection doctor at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore on May 27th. Pray that the Lord will intervene so that it will not be necessary to have additional surgery. Thanks for asking. Thanks for praying.
Please take a moment and read the great review Worship Leader Magazine did of Pure Praise! This is in the May, 2009 edition (p. 78). Woohoo!
Here’s a quote from the closing paragraph: “Finally, a book worth passing out to your leaders, and one they will want to share with their teams.”

Nancy Beach served as program coordinator at Willow Creek Church for 20 years and is now the teaching pastor at Willow Creek Community Church (which averages nearly 23,000 attendees, making it the fourth-largest church in the United States.) Nancy also serves as the executive vice president for the arts at the Willow Creek Association. She is the author of the book, An Hour On Sunday (Zondervan, 2004).
“Pure Praise…is a tremendous tool for anyone in the worship/arts arena of ministry. There is a tremendous need for those of us who have the privilege of leading or designing corporate worship to be private worshipers who are grounded in our view of God. These devotional tools provide church artists and pastors with a rich understanding of the purpose of what we do and the kind of heart condition we need to bring to our God-given responsibility.” — Nancy Beach
Many thanks to Rev Magazine for featuring an excerpt from Pure Praise: A Heart-focused Bible Study on Worship in their March/April edition! Rev Magazine is a widely-circulated printed magazine for pastors and staff ministers.
The article is entitled Ministers through Music, and it is taken from Day 1 of Week 6 of Pure Praise. Out of all the powerful principles in Pure Praise, the editors at Rev chose this teaching. More and more we are hearing of how this fresh and provocative message is resonating with many people who are going through the study.
Our very first Next Level Worship Conference in Deridder, LA went incredibly well! We had close to 120 people who attended, representing several local area churches. We received the letter below from Frank Nihart, who is the worship pastor who hosted our first Next Level Worship Conference. It is clear from this letter that he was very satisfied with the results of the conference.
Dear Dwayne,
Let me say again how well our people and the surrounding area churches responded to the Next Level Worship Conference. To many, it was a day of new insight on the subject of worship and praise. It is my opinion that most Christians don’t realize how dominant and daily worship should be in our lives. Similarly, choir members, praise team members, pastors and even worship leaders could all benefit from your teaching about being “ministers ‘through’ music.”
The large group worship/teaching times you led were, to quote one attendee: “able to meet all our needs.” They went on to say they were inspired to serve more readily and better recognized their calling as a worship leader.
The small group sessions were effective to the point that great teaching was done in a compacted schedule. These sessions informed the attendees and whetted their appetites to pursue greater skill and knowledge in the various subject/ministry areas.
Your preparation was truly professional. You were keenly concerned about relating the truths of the scripture to “our” conferees. Your leadership and conscientiousness about “timing” and schedule were much appreciated.
May God bless you in your commitment to serve Him.

“If you feel like God has left the building, your life, or both, hold that thought. Because Dwayne Moore is going to teach you how God wants to saturate every nook and cranny, every nano-second of your existence. A mind and soul journey into the heart of God, Pure Praise is the primer for worship leaders. It is a much needed ‘recalibration,’ and there’s nothing out there that’s as simple, condensed, and fit for group as well as individual study.” — Sally Morgenthaler, author of Worship Evangelism
[Sally Morgenthaler is recognized as an innovator in Christian practices worldwide. Since 1992, she has been pioneering new worship forms characterized by both cultural relevance and worship faithfulness. Known best for her book Worship Evangelism (Zondervan, 1998), Morgenthaler became a trusted interpreter of postmodern culture and a guide to the crucial shifts the North American church must make if it's to have a transforming presence within pre-Christian communities.]

Liberty University in Virginia plans to include Pure Praise: A Heart-focused Bible Study on Worship in its cirriculum! Here is what Dr. Vernon Whaley, director of The Center for Worship at Liberty, said about Pure Praise:
Jehoshaphat learned first hand that God honors those that make praise a priority in their lives. Dwayne Moore uses this principle as the basis for teaching others to worship. What a wonderful idea! Pure Praise is an incredible resource. The book is a valuable tool for teaching and practicing worship. Great organization. Timeless application. Effective teaching concept – 9 weeks living the life of praise with Jehoshaphat — learning the joy of seeing God follow through on his promise to honor those that praise Him. I am sure, as my students at the Center for Worship use and digest this book into their daily habit of worship, they too will learn from story of King Jehoshaphat that when God is honored and exalted, He allows them to experience first hand, Pure Praise.

NEXT LEVEL WORSHIP
Dwayne Moore is a seasoned veteran in the worship community who now offers discipleship resources to the church at large through this site. Through his years as the worship leader for Scott Dawson, Dwayne worked to create musically adept teams for the various festivals, crusades, and conferences that Scott produced. Dwayne’s knowledge is now available via Next Level Worship through his 30 Days of Praise series as well as his many audio teaching courses on honoring God and staying fresh. For a biblical perspective on worship, he delivers an in-depth look at topics as diverse as American Idol…This site can appear immense, but a few moments of scouring will lead to many nuggets well worth the search. In fact, just the blog is worthy of a visit each morning for a fresh look at the service of worship.

“Pure Praise is a refreshing and greatly needed tool in the Body of Christ for both worshippers and worship teams. The goal of this study is NOT to help us fall more in love with worship; rather these daily, intimate encounters with God can help us fall more in love with our Father–which is the very essence of Biblical worship. One of the most compelling aspects is Dwayne’s emphasis on musicians being ministers through music. This study has the potential to transform entire worship teams to see themselves first of all, not as musicians and performers, but more importantly, as servants to other people and to the Most High.” — Darlene Zschech, Hillsong Church, Australia
